Joint decision in adjustment of the work of guides accompanying Chinese tourists
On the 09th of December ‘round table’ took place at the office of Committee for Tourism of the city of Moscow devoted to adjustment of the work of guides mastering Chinese.
Executive Director of the Partnership ‘The World without Borders’ Roman Rysev as well as General Director of the travel company ‘Express-Line’ Vladimir Shcherbatykh took part in the work of ‘the round table’.
President of association of guides-interpreters and tour managers Alexander Ossipov, who made a speech at the meeting, analyzed breach of the rules of excursion work in Moscow by foreign guides-translators which do not have accreditation. Representative of the Company ‘Express-Line’, having recognized the existence of the problem, made concrete offers in improvement of the quality of excursion services.
According to the results of the interest discussion that took place, the participants made a decision to interact more actively in the matters of group provision of Chinese tourists with professional guides.
To do that in the interest of receiving the tour market it is necessary to develop the typical agreement with tour operators about principles of mutual activity, to coordinate the text with the participants of the Partnership ‘The World without Borders’ and Committee for Tourism of Moscow. In this connection the participants agreed to prepare and present a new excursion program for tourists from PRC.
Expert council consisting of tour operators and representatives of Association of guides-interpreters will be authorized to keep register of guides really working and mastering Chinese and upon necessity to arrange preparation and accreditation of specialists in such a number so that there would be in Moscow not less than 100 people up to the 01st of July 2010. The representatives of the tour business consider that services of such number of professionals will be sought for in the high season of 2010. |
