The biggest group of tourists from China came to Russia
About one thousand Chinese tourists came to Moscow in two groups on the 22nd and 23rd of October.
All of them are corporate employees of a big company “Infinitus”, which is engaged in production of remedies. Its facilities are located throughout the whole China, that’s why among the tourists there have been residents of Beijing and Shanghai, and province of Guangdong and other cities and regions of China
The group of these corporate tourists is headed by director of international communications of the company Mr. Huang Jianlong. According to him, a corporate employee, who reached great success in his work, once in a year can be granted with such trip abroad as a reward. Thus, recently a group of one and half thousand employees of “Infinitus” was in Thailand. And such corporate trip to Russia for special workers took place for the first time.
From the Chinese part big tour company CITS was occupied in arrangement of trip.
“Chinese like Russia very much, people are interested in your country and many of them wish to visit it, - says General Manager of international tourism department (Europe) of Guangdong department of CITS Mrs. Mu Yuan. - That’s why we chose Russia. And we decided to show the most beautiful places in your country which are Moscow and Saint Petersburg”.
“Ellips”company, the member of the Partnership “The World without Borders” was engaged in reception of Chinese tourists in Russia. Of course, it was uneasy to arrange reception of such big group of tourists. But a five-day trip to both Russian capital cities passed successfully.
Chinese visitors saw the main sightseeing spots and museums of Moscow and Saint-Petersburg, gained a familiarity with Russian cookery and traditions.
Elena Trishchenko, the Director General of “Ellips” company and also representatives of administrative directorate of the Partnership “The World without Borders” welcomed tourists from china in Moscow. The representatives of the Association met guests from china in airport, having provided them with quicker passing of bordering formalities. Arrival of such record-breaking group of tourists from china became an event in the history of Russian-Chinese tourist exchange. It is pleasant to note that neither an economic crisis nor “poor season” in Russia could stop them, though there is no secrecy that tourists from PRC prefer to come to our country in warm, more comfortable for them season. So, this trip may be believed as a big success of “Ellips” tour operator, which confirmed its good and trustful reputation in the tour market of China as well as of the Partnership “World without borders” which actively promotes Russia as a point of destination in PRC and considers provision of adequate level of service and security of foreign visitors by member companies as the most important issue. |
